Install Library Lookup on your Mac.

Batch-match your music library against the Discogs database. It runs on your own Mac, so searches use your own connection and your own Discogs quota. Your keys stay in your macOS Keychain.

1. Install Node.js 20 or newer (LTS).
2. Create your own free Discogs app at discogs.com/settings/developers > Create an application. Any name works. Keep the page open.

1. Unzip the download.
2. Right-click Install.command > Open, then confirm Open. macOS asks because the file came from the internet.
3. Paste your app's Consumer Key and Consumer Secret when asked. Typing is hidden.
4. Discogs opens in your browser: press Authorize. Terminal says "Setup complete".

1. Come back here and press Run on this Mac. Your browser asks once to open EGMN Library Lookup: allow it.
2. Drop in a CSV with artist, title, year, catalog_no (up to 50 rows), press Search Discogs, download the results.

Right-click Uninstall.command > Open. It deletes the app, its files and its Keychain entries. You can also revoke access at discogs.com/settings/applications.
